This is the first time I’ve attended the Texas Hoedown Car, Truck and Bike Show. I was very pleasantly surprised at the large turn-out! In their 9th year, the Hoedown came back to New Caney, Texas and held at Albert Salas Park, which happens to be up the road from where I presently live. I had all intentions of displaying my ’69 C10 “Pumpkinhead” but I didn’t get her ready in time. Next year for sure!
All types of great Pre-72 Custom, Classics, Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Muscle Cars, Trucks along with Bobber’s and Chopper’s on display this year! There is always something to see at the Hoedown! In our photo gallery are some of my most favorite’s at the show! All the live bands were great and very entertaining!
A few hot contests were spread out through the day on the main stage included the Swimsuit and Pin-Up Contest along with another crowd favorite, the Lil’ Greasers Contest! I believe a 1 year old won! Ya can’t say no to a cute baby!
The show is definitely camera worthy regardless if you’re just shooting with a cell phone or pro equipment. The weather was Texas perfect and so many nice people! That’s what it’s all about folks! People!
The 2018 10th Annual Texas Hoedown is to be bigger and even better than this year! So stay tuned as we plan to kick up some dust and get down at the Hoedown!
